About

Danika is a lawyer at MDW Law who concentrates her practice in the area of family and divorce law.

Danika is bilingual. Her primary language is French, but she has studied and worked  in both official languages and has practiced law in English since her arrival in Halifax in the summer of 2015.

Originally from Miramichi, New Brunswick, Danika studied sciences prior to completing her Juris Doctor at the Université de Moncton in May 2015.  Shortly thereafter, Danika moved to Halifax to complete her articles at a small family law firm in Halifax, where she also worked as an associate for almost two years prior to joining the MDW Law team in 2018.

Having concentrated her practice in family law, Danika understands the complex mixture of emotions that often surround family law matters, and she strives to help her clients navigate these feelings in order to achieve the best possible outcome for them in the most cost-effective way. Danika is settlement focused, and she aspires to provide the highest quality of service to her clients.

When she is not in the office, Danika loves to stay active, participate in outdoor activities, and spend time with family and friends. Danika is an avid traveler, and is always in the process of planning her next trip.
